01 / Shipping
Shipping
Currently, I ship twice per week as scheduling permits via UPS. Once on Wednesday and once on Friday. This isn't a guarantee as sometimes things happen that may prevent me from being able to get things out that day.
Contact Kensington before sending a watch. Shipping instructions are provided after the work and availability are confirmed. Verify the destination and agreed shipping arrangements directly.

I have a zero tolerance policy for chargebacks.

All sales are final.
04 / Warranty
One-year workmanship warranty
All completed work is covered by a one-year workmanship warranty. If a component fails as a direct result of my workmanship, I will repair the issue or replace the affected part at no charge.
This warranty does not cover material or component failure, normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, or water intrusion. Any evidence of water damage voids the warranty.

05 / Scope & build slots
Agree the scope.
Services are selected around the individual watch and confirmed with Kensington. Posted menu prices include the work explicitly listed in the chosen package. Additional parts, plating or other work not listed in that package must be confirmed separately.
The $2,985 KTF build slot reserves workshop time and capacity for an agreed custom commission. Materials, special tooling or other requirements beyond the standard slot may need a separately quoted addendum. The specification, included work and any added scope and cost are agreed before work begins.

Bespoke build timelines
Bespoke builds involve complex work and parts sourced internationally, so delays can occur. Any quoted timeframe is an estimate, not a guaranteed completion or delivery date, and may change as the build progresses.
07 / Water resistance
Water resistance
A water-resistance test concerns the specific watch at the time of testing. Do not infer a depth rating, swimming suitability or a waterproof guarantee from a service package or photograph.
Ask for the individual watch’s test results and suitable use guidance. Water intrusion is excluded from the workmanship warranty.

Kensington Timepieces, “KTF” and all related names and activities associated with Kensington Timepieces is an independent watch customization and servicing provider and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Rolex SA or any of its subsidiaries.
Any mention of Rolex is solely for the purpose of identifying compatibility or intended use.
09 / Website privacy
Privacy & project alerts
The public website provides service information, an estimate builder and contact links. The customer portal collects your email address, Reddit username, a description of your existing order and the shipping address on that order. Kensington uses these details to verify your email, match your request to an existing project and manage the updates you request.
Project-status emails begin only after email verification and a staff match. Viewing order details requires a separate verification using your order reference and email. Submitting an alert request does not create an order, approve work or change shipping instructions.
Project alerts are transactional updates, not marketing. You can request a private preference link on the project alerts page and turn them off. Turning off alerts does not prevent you from requesting an email link to access your order.
Render hosts the portal and its database; submitted customer details are encrypted when stored. Resend processes email addresses and message content to deliver verification links and project-status emails. WorkOS handles staff sign-in.
The portal uses temporary cookies for verified access and alert preferences. The public website may store acknowledgement of the independent-services notice for the current session. It has no analytics or advertising trackers; fonts and images are served with the site.
The downloadable send-in form is completed on your device or on paper and is not submitted through this website. Email and Instagram links open external services with their own privacy practices.
No automatic deletion schedule for customer and order records is currently configured; contact kensingtontime@gmail.com to request review, correction or deletion. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or identity documents through the portal.
